  To celebrate International Women's Day, I've made trading cards featuring some amazing Canadian women. The trading cards were inspired by the stories of courageous females, as told by Merna Forster in her books 100 Canadian Heroines and 100 More Canadian Heroines. Below are six PDF files. Each one can be printed on 11”x17” paper on a standard photocopier and then cut into individual trading cards to share with others and celebrate these amazing women. On Sheet 6, there are two blank trading cards where you can draw a picture of a noteworthy woman you know or admire. For a chance to be featured on the freakin' fantastic females Instagram account (@freakinfantasticfemales), take a photo of your drawing, post it to Instagram, tag it #freakinfantasticfemales and tell us why you think that woman is freakin' fantastic! How did I not find these in four years! These are great. Was thinking of a similar idea myself. I have now 4,000 mini biographies on Famous Canadian Women web site. Lots to choose from for cards. Leave a Reply. |
